Privacy Policy

Effective October 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Trident Transportation Group, LLC ("Trident," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our delivery services, our website at tridenttransportationgroup.com, and our delivery notification text messages.

SMS privacy commitment: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or delivery platform providers, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

1. Information we collect

Delivery recipient information

To complete deliveries, we receive information from our shipping clients (for example, meal-kit companies and food or nutrition programs) or directly from recipients, which may include:

  • Name, delivery address, and delivery instructions (such as gate codes or drop-off preferences)
  • Mobile phone number, when provided for delivery notifications
  • Order or package identifiers and delivery schedule

Delivery records

When we complete a delivery, we may create records such as delivery time, GPS location of the drop-off, proof-of-delivery photos, signatures, and driver notes.

Website and contact information

If you contact us by phone or email, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, company, email address, phone number, and message. Our website does not use advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may log basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance.

2. How we use information

  • To plan routes and complete deliveries
  • To send transactional delivery notifications by text message, such as driver en route, arrival time, delivery completed, and delivery exceptions
  • To provide proof of delivery and resolve delivery questions or issues
  • To respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • To maintain safety, security, and compliance with legal obligations

We do not use recipient information to send marketing messages, and we do not sell personal information.

3. Text messaging (SMS)

We send text messages only to recipients who have agreed to receive delivery notifications, as described on our SMS Delivery Notifications page. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver the messages (such as our delivery management and messaging platform providers), who are permitted to use it only to provide that service.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to perform our services:

  • With the shipping client whose order we are delivering, to confirm delivery status and proof of delivery.
  • With service providers that support our operations, such as our delivery management software, messaging, and hosting providers, under obligations to protect the information.
  • For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Trident, our clients, recipients, or others.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information, including mobile phone numbers, with third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

We keep delivery records only as long as needed to provide our services, resolve disputes, meet client contract requirements, and comply with legal obligations.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including access controls on our delivery systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Health-related deliveries

Some of our clients operate nutrition or medically tailored meal programs. We receive only the information needed to complete a delivery (such as name, address, phone number, and delivery instructions) and handle it confidentially and in line with our client agreements.

8. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

9. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
